In this tutorial we show you how to draw a background for your Doodle Jump game. In our video we used Adobe Photoshop but if you don’t have Photoshop you are welcome to use any paint program you can get your hands on. Lima sky used a very clever theme to match the title of the game. The theme of their game was making everything look like it is a doodle on a piece of paper. The background of the game is the paper and they styled it after the look of graphing paper. The background that we created in our video resembles yellow lined paper because we want to follow the creativity of Lima Sky and use similar style and theme, for now. While creating your background remember that this game will be build for mobile platforms and players will be holding their phones upright/portrait so make sure that the background you create has the right dimensions. Also make sure that your are creative and original while creating the design of your game.
